mforsyth90
Hi all Please can anyone advise me on the placement of my RO filter. I live in an area that has very hard water and we have a whole house water softener (the sort that uses salt blocks) All taps in the house are fed by this except for an outside tap that uses mains water. My preffered location for the RO filter would be in the utility room under the sink but that is softened water. Would it be OK to plumb in the RO filter downstream of the softener or should this be fitted before the softener? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment

This will help prevent scale build-up from hard water, which could potentially clog the membrane. 1 Quote Link to comment
