Reef Antinori 14G

Hello

My name is Tadeu, and I'm from Brasil, and this is my new project:

I have marine aquariums, about past 20 years, and now I will start a new nano aquarium, because shortly I’ll move to an apartment, and my current aquarium is too big (about 58 gallons / 222 liters) for my new home.

I’m taking the opportunity to improve some thinks, and to make an "easy to care" reef, in last 20 years, I almost gave up on aquariums, because I always became to care too difficult.

Let´s see the project.

Quote: My inspiration for the project is the amazing : ᴀq͎ᴜᴀ ꜱᴘʟᴇɴᴅᴏʀ - ɴᴀɴᴏ ʀᴇᴇꜰ

Will be “all-in-one” aquarium, made with 6mm, “crystal clear” glass, about 13 gallons / 52,5 liters

Products that I’ve already have:

1 – Reef Led Aqua Illumination PRIME 16
1 - Bubble Magus MiniQ Nano Protein Skimmer (Bought in Aliexpress, but don’t arrive yet)
1 - Jebao Wavemaker 4000l/h RW4P
1 – Some Live Rocks (Old Reef)
1 – About 5 quilograms of White Aragonita.

Products that I need to buy:

1 – Return Pump (about 500 L/h)
1 – Heather (my old is too big)
1 – Cooler Fan
1 – AI Prime Support

Hello, I'm here with some news.

The skimmer that I purchased has arrived, now I can confirm that the space I will leave in the sump will be enough to accommodate it.

Some pics:

I know most Nano’s owners don’t use skimmer, and export nutrients with constant water changes. But I believe that skimmers are an added security to keep the water condition stable.

Hello I’m here with some news!

My glass and acrylic divider arrived, and now I’ll paste to make the SUMP.

I wanted to put my little skimmer on the center, but I decided to get a Maxspect Jump MJ-165, and it’s have an arm that need to hold on the glass, so I’ll put the skimmer on the left side, to stay away from the return pump to avoid the risk of air bubbles.

Let´s see some pictures:

It's just for now.

After I paste the Acrylic I'm going to fill it with water to test the whole system!

Thanks for following.

Nice Pictures!

You mentioned the larger tank you have, are the corals you have currently from there? Will you move any more?

I'm guessing the clown is also from there? I love clowns, but I cant stand their toxic personality, they are great until they arent anymore! Seems like your clown likes the leather coral, does it host it?

Yes, the corals came from my larger tank, which I've already emptied. A big colony of Mushroom Brown Hairy, I sent it to an aquarium store here in my city, because it would not fit in this new one.

Yes, this clown fish has been with me for 11 years, me and my daughter, we love her.

By this nano is small, I will not add any more fish along with her. But when she's gone, I plan to put a couple of clown fish, like a Ocellaris Orange Storm or Frostbite, They are beautiful.

You're right about her personality, she owns the tank.
