chufa
I made the mistake of placing a frogspawn too close to my GFP. Although I dodn't see it, this morning I noticed all the polyps beside the frog retracted. I separated them, but even after a full day, the polyps have stayed retratced and only a few have come out, but stay very small. Can the frog kill the plopys with just one night of stinging? Or should I expect a slow comeback? Link to comment
Christopher Marks
I would suspect that they will come back ok if that was the first time they've been stung. If you have a powerhead, hold it infront of the coral for awhile to put a lot of flow over the area for a minute. Link to comment
Physh1
I would agreem with Chris. In my experience GSP are very hardy but do take a little time to recover from stings like that. One of my frogspawns fell onto a GSP mat I had going and it sat there for roughly 24hours until I spotted it. The GSP took 2.5 days to start looking normal again and from there on there was no more problems. Just be patient. Cameron Link to comment
chufa
It took a couple of days, but the polyps have made a full comeback. Link to comment
