Biocube lighting upgrade to my upgrade!

Hi All!  I have a Biocube 14.  I upgraded the old ballast lighting thanks to Steve's LED's.  But, several years later, I need to upgrade again.  The issue is that the plastic lighting shroud has become cloudy.  And in one spot, there is a burn mark and crack.  At this point, can I remove the whole thing and get a sealed unit that will fit under the hood and attach with some zip ties?  If so, can anyone recommend a unit?

I'm really not sure what would work.  I might look into LED strip lights.

Steves has a fix. I just bought his kit but just cut out the old plastic and caulk a piece of glass in its place. You can buy a piece of glass cut to your size at most home depot type stores

In my 32 Biocube, I just took the lid off and replaced it with a mesh lid from Kraken Reef. Then I used 2 AI Prime HD 16 lights -- I was really happy with the results vs. the stock lighting.
