Any ideas?

The standard approach, at least to get you started.

Eliminate Potential Problems

How old is the tank?

How is it being cleaned and filtered?

What are your test results?  Especially for nitrates and phosphates?

What is your cleanup crew made up of so far?

Deal With Algae Itself

Removing mature algae growth (like in your picture) by hand is the best way.

Your cleanup crew will help keep clean rock stay clean, but it generally will not eat mature algae.
