I didn't really think too much of it but I was just wondering what it was. the hermit crab is about one inch long so you can kinda tell how big that thing is this is the zoomed in shot: this is the zoomed out one: thanks for any help Link to comment

jacox Posted October 27, 2004 Share Posted October 27, 2004 They can reproduce fairly quickly, but not like something that will take over your tank. They stay very small. It's cool that one ended up on a shell! They're filter feeders - will just eat whatever stuff is floating in the water. But if you get interested in them and want to get some bigger ones (very pretty) they do well with additions of refrigerated phytoplankton. Link to comment
