NRJOHNSON2121
I have a Blackbox 18" over a 20l aquarium. I am wondering if these corals seem to be getting enough light, especially that Duncan which is very open. Is it too open? Is it crying for more light or is that just healthy? Quote Link to comment
Butchy21
Duncan looks healthy and happy - 1 Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Depending on the lights settings that might be way too much light. Can you measure the lux over the tank, at the water line? (Get a lux meter if possible....they are very cheap. But there are lux meter apps that use the camera on your phone too. try that if necessary.) It would also be great if you could post all of your most recent water tests....especially alk, phosphate and nitrate. 👍 1 Quote Link to comment
NRJOHNSON2121
I'm running 40% blue 4% white. Blue 8 hours a day white 6. I live in the middle of knowhere kentucky so unfortunately I can't get a par meter. All me starts are standard nitrate is 5-8ppm. I use fritz reef salt and do a 20%wc every week to replenish nutrients Quote Link to comment
