seabass Posted November 6, 2022 Share Posted November 6, 2022 For pods, yes, I believe you dump the water along with the pods into your tank. They will need something to eat though. Depending on your rock, you might need to supplement some food for them, or they will just die out and disappear. Dosing phytoplankton can often sustain pods; it's fairly easy to culture yourself: https://www.nano-reef.com/articles/advanced/culturing-phytoplankton-for-reef-aquarium-food/ Generally, you can seed some pods, and they will adjust their populations to the availability of food. But buying more doesn't necessarily mean you'll end up with any more pods. 3 Quote Link to comment
