How to get good pics of Tank

I notice a lot of you have awesome pics of your tanks and fish. Whenever I try this with my phone the pics are always too blue. I don't have it extra blue so how and what are you using to get great pics?

 

Same thing for videos.

phone clip-on filter...or use a white balance function in photo apps, i prefer latter.

 

For more of a "real" camera setup, this might be too much info, but it's a pretty good explanation on the basics.
