Hey everyone I have a heating question.  My house is always freezing in the summer and the basement where my tank is will probably be cold (65 degrees  or so) when I'm not at home.  I have one of those inkbird devices to help with the temp and have it set for 78 degrees.  It rarely gets to that and most of the time the water is at around 76 degrees.  Should I worry about this and do you think a bigger heater would fix this?

I think the one I have now is like 50W but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

76 is fine for a reef tank, if it is staying there there's nothing to be worried about. But yes, a larger heater would solve that. If you have a 50W a 75 or 100W should be able to get to 78-80.

Thanks, for the assist. I'll look into one.
