RSM Nano Skimmer Sponge Question

I have a RSM Nano 20 gal and need to know where/how the sponge is supposed to fit on it.  I bought one used without the sponges but have ordered both.  I'm

Are you having micro bubbles?  

 

Most of the sponges I see with nano skimmers is to get rid of micro-bubbles.

Good I'm hoping that the two  I got will do just that. I havn't used the skimmer so far as the tank just finished cycling and there is no livestock other than the clean up crew.  I just need to find a diagram that shows how that skimmer sponge is supposed to fit into it.
