CMuentener
Hello all.... How compatible / incompatible are colt coral with other leather corals? I'm in the middle of a new tank build and couldn't help pick up a branching little soft coral frag recently that turned out to be a red colt coral. It's growing nicely in my tank currently but as I plan for the future in my new system I'm wondering how much space to give it and can it touch other leather corals. Some conflicting information out on the web. Thanks Quote Link to comment
seabass
From what I've heard, leather corals can usually touch each other. However, leather corals do release chemicals which can affect other corals. Activated carbon is often recommended to remove these chemicals. 3 Quote Link to comment
