Wavemaker for a 13.5g?

All the wavemakers I've been looking at have reviews saying they're too strong for a small tank. Anyone have a recommendation?

or maybe one of the Jebao wavemakers.  You'll probably want something which could provide somewhere around 400 gph.

why a wavemaker and not a more powerful or upgraded return pump?

An Xaqua in out creates a vortex wave. 
it’s a overflow/return combo

AI Nero 3 is a great pump for nano tanks. I have two of them in a 10g.

I feel that you can increase flow by replacing the return pump.  However, I'm not sure if the overflow is setup for 400 gph, so even with a stronger pump, you might still benefit from a powerhead in the display.  Note: that's a total of 400 gph (of all things generating additional flow).

I have a powerhead that I could throw in that I used in a previous 10g!!
