waveland
Hi, Been out of reefing for a few years. Said I'm done, but the itch brought me back, lol. I'm planning on making it a Caribbean tank (I live in Florida) so, maybe some soft corals or mushrooms and zoa's. Where do I need to be in LED lighting? I'm thinking minimum 50 watts? Will 100 fry a tank that small or help it? Any light recommendations as well will be appreciated. Many thanks, Dave Quote Link to comment
jservedio
As long as it's adjustable you'll be fine with anything and something like a prime 16hd or similar would be ideal. Even with an SPS dominant tank you probably wouldn't use more than 20-30w from a single fixture. You can get a bigger fixture for more coverage, but you will have it turned way down.
