Red bubble tip anemone

Hi,

I want to get some feedback of people who have a red bubble tip anemone in a 10gal and with what kind of lighting.

I ask that because I can get a really nice Red BTA for my 10gal and I have 100w of PC (5 20w coralife 50/50). The only thing is the BTA is under 250w MH since about 6 months. If I change it for pc, can I kill him?

thanks for help

I think that you would be just fine, and your anemone would not only survive, but thrive. The cut off for a RBT anemone with PC lights is 6 watts per gallon usually, and you have ten watts per. Plus, I'm guessing that the tank that sports the MH is much larger than a 10 gallon, so in the end, you could be providing even more intense light if its closer to the surface.

That is true because RBA can thrive off only photosythesis. Your lighting seems a bit intense but as long as your other corals are not getting bleached, then i guess you are fine. Goodluck
