koolyce
Hi, I want to get some feedback of people who have a red bubble tip anemone in a 10gal and with what kind of lighting. I ask that because I can get a really nice Red BTA for my 10gal and I have 100w of PC (5 20w coralife 50/50). The only thing is the BTA is under 250w MH since about 6 months. If I change it for pc, can I kill him? thanks for help Link to comment
Green Shat
I think that you would be just fine, and your anemone would not only survive, but thrive. The cut off for a RBT anemone with PC lights is 6 watts per gallon usually, and you have ten watts per. Plus, I'm guessing that the tank that sports the MH is much larger than a 10 gallon, so in the end, you could be providing even more intense light if its closer to the surface. Link to comment
RegalFlush17
That is true because RBA can thrive off only photosythesis. Your lighting seems a bit intense but as long as your other corals are not getting bleached, then i guess you are fine. Goodluck Link to comment
