RaymondNoodles
My cerith snails have recently begun laying eggs. I have 3 of them in my 20g. I first noticed the eggs a month ago. Since then I am seeing this every day or other day, 2-4” long trails of eggs on the glass or rocks. Seems like an extraordinary rate for 3 snails to reproduce…or attempt to. Assuming it’s 2 females and 1 male. Take it easy, bro 😂 I haven’t seen interest in “caviar dinner” from any of the inhabits…cleaner shrimp, clownfish, springeri damsel, emerald crab, hermit crabs or nassarius snails. Doesn’t seem like a problem but I’m wondering what others’ experiences have been. 1 Quote Link to comment
DaJMasta
Shouldn't cause any problems. I don't know of anything that eats the eggs that I've seen in a tank (maybe some fish would?), but they will typically hatch in about a week and then will definitely become food for corals/fish/whatever - just small zooplankton at that point. 1 Quote Link to comment
