Blind Tree Frog
Alright, so I made a brain fart, but it leaves me with a simple question. Will a royal gamma do fine on freeze dried blood worms? Or does it need to be frozen blood worms or some other form of frozen treat. I know if I feed my coral it would have to be frozen treats, but what about the fish? Flake and freeze dried should be fine or no? Link to comment
Duke13
Look at it this way, do wild fish eat flake food? Plus, how tasty would freeze dried blood worms taste compared to the frozen stuff? I'd say stick with frozen foods. Only use dry foods in case of emergencies. Link to comment
Blind Tree Frog
Because the wild frozen blood worm travels in solid packs throughout reefs around the world. Either way we're presenting only a portion of what they have in the wild. I'm looking for something relating to actual nutritional content. My current plan (which may change as I think about it) is dry food for the bulk of it's diet, and as I add frozen food for the corals weekly (or twice weekly as needed) just load up the tank for the fish to enjoy as well.
