Why does my black widow tetra have a black growth on its mouth

Guys why does my black tetra have a black growth on its mouth is there anything I can do to stop it

Hard to tell from the pic but doesn't look too bad. Could have damaged its mouth and is healing. Keep an eye on it. Look for the fish acting strangely or any other weirdness on this fish. U might be ok 👍

Thanks very much, I could put it in an Epsom salt bath

 If u have a planted tank I'd quarantine then use the salt. I've had it wipe out some more delicate plants. Not sure if 100% the reason but better safe than sorry.

I'd put the fish in a bucket and put the salt in a bucket
