Toomanymatts
I just set up my EVO 13.5. I picked up 10.5 pounds of live rock along with 10 pounds of live sand. I also added some DR Tim's. I purchased premade salt water from the store as well. He told that because we were setting it up with the same water as from the display tanks, not newly created salt water that I could add fish tomorrow. Does that sound right, or should I force a cycle first with dead shrimp or something? Quote Link to comment
DevilDuck
Was the live rock and you bought wet or dry? If it's 10.5 lbs for wet live rock that was sitting in their tanks, then you should be ok to slowly add fish. Did you also purchase a test kit for ammonia? Quote Link to comment
Toomanymatts
It was wet. It was in. A large container that had water circulating through it. I did pick up test kits. I did plan to test everything tomorrow first. Quote Link to comment
