AWiseOne
I have my new tank (IM Nuvo Peninsula 14) setup, equipment installed, aquascaped, and ready to add water. I plan on using the cycle with fish method using Fritz Turbostart 900 and a pair of small clownfish. How far in advance should I add my water to my tank prior to adding the fish and Turbostart? Is adding the water a week in advance to soon? Quote Link to comment
DevilDuck
A week seems good. it will allow time for the water to come up to temperature and things to start to settle. Is this going to be a fish only tank? 1 Quote Link to comment
AWiseOne
It's going to start as a fish only and I plan on eventually adding some soft corals and maybe an LPS or two if the soft corals go well. My aquascape is about 9 lbs of Marcorocks dry rock and I have 20 lbs of Caribsea arag-alive special grade sand. I'm not sure if I'll be adding all 20 lbs, but there will at least be 10lbs in there.
