I have a long nose hawk fish that I got a month ago. It’s been doing great, eating frozen shrimp daily. Then a week ago it simply stopped eating. It looks normal, except it’s getting skinny. I feed him and he swims around looking but not eating.  Any ideas?

I had this happen with a blenny. He lasted a month or 2 before dying. Does ur hawk fish have any white lumps on it? Or and abnormalities. Also what are your water parameters.

Internal issues such as gut infections can lead to this....usually no external signs.

 

Can you post a pic of the fish and the tank he's in?
