Sushi748
I just recently notice that there is a couple spot of something that appears to be orange can someone help my identify it? Quote Link to comment
DaJMasta
It's a tiny amount, so it's hard to say, but a lot of orange that covers area in a tank is going to be sponge, though there are kinds of colonial tunicates that are bright orange (but they will look like clusters of little, often partly translucent, cups). Will probably be easier to ID if it gets bigger, otherwise it could even just be a fleck of something. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Sometimes red algae (including cyano) look that color when they die off a little.... I'm not sure why it happens tho....red cyano that I filter out doesn't change color even if it dries out to the point that it's crispy. 🤷♂️ I'm also not sure that's what's happening in that little spot in your picture. 🤷♂️🤷♂️ 2 Quote Link to comment
