Skimmer - Chamber 1 in Innovative Marine?

Anyone running a skimmer in chamber one of an innovative marine AIO tank?  I have an SR60 and used to have a Tunze 9004 in chamber 2 of the left side.  It was a pain to get setup and clean because I didn't leave much room behind the tank.  I'm thinking chamber 1 might be a decent spot so I can attach the magnet to the side of the tank versus the rear.  I'm currently running filter floss on both sides.  

 

Curious as to anyone's thoughts or theories.
