Can Dino transfer one tank to another thru a coral swap??

Yes they can transfer from coral, rocks, equipment, and even items shared between tanks for cleaning/maintenance

Yes, but this isn't an issue because your tank always has dinoflagellates present. As long as your tank is healthy, it isn't an issue. Dinoflagellates only become an issue when the conditions in your tank allow for an outbreak and there is nothing present that can compete with them. That is generally caused by a complete lack of nutrients or a large nutrient imbalance.

What we call zooxanthellae in coral… is actually a type of dinoflagellate.

 

But yes the ones you worry about taking over a tank are present in every system.
