Ive dosed to 2.0ppm and have gotten the tank to process it down in three weeks. The second time I dosed ammonia it took only about six days to process down to zero. I tested today again and my ammonia levels were at 0.00 and Nitrite was also at 0.00. I will be dosing again to 2ppm and hoping the tank can process it down to 0 within 24 hours. I want to tread on the side of caution before I add any living organism. Also I couldn't help myself and bought the red sea marine care test kit it was on sale at my local LFS for 30 bucks so I will be using that instead of the API test kit. 2 Quote Link to comment
