BRFishman
Which is better, regular or activated carbon, for a 20-gallon saltwater tank? Quote Link to comment
seabass
Welcome to Nano-Reef.com. What do you mean by regular carbon. Carbon as a chemical filter media is always activated carbon. It adsorbs meds, dissolved organic compounds, reduces odors, and makes water clearer. Chemical media isn't always required, but many people do use it regularly. Quote Link to comment

seabass
I believe that this is the catalog: https://fluvalaquatics.com/us/product-category/filtration-media/media/clip-on-media/c-series-clip-on-media/ Could you be more specific about which two media packages you are comparing?
