ChickenJo
I upgraded the light on my Fluval Evo 13.5 and since I have it I figure it would be great to set up a little pico (around 3 gallons hopefully?) using it. The issue I'm having now is I don't know what kind of container would be good for a 14.5"x3" light! I'm open to doing something a bit wackier, Like maybe growing things sideways and having the light on the side or something? I did see someone once do an upside down pico jar with the light coming in from the bottom and the corals growing down? I don't know, could do anything with it, I'm all ears on all suggestions! Xj reefing
You could try and find multiple glass jars to use along the length of the light Quote Link to comment
M. Tournesol
Ada Cube Garden-Mini-S ? 12"x7"x9.5" and 3 gallon or if you want to go to 5 gallon 14.17" x 8.66" x 10.24"https://www.marinedepot.com/lifegard-aquatics-crystal-aquarium-45-degree-low-iron-ultra-clear-5-4-gallon Quote Link to comment
M. Tournesol
The dimension of your light does not make it is 🤔. A long planter could make it but you would only be able to observe your pico from above. If I were you, I would go for 2~3 small pico reef in ligne below your light. Quote Link to comment
