5 gallon coral tank

I have a spare 5 gallon cube tank (12 in by 12in by 12in) and I wanted to keep a coral tank but I’m wondering if I need an RO/DI system for it or if I can just use distilled water. Any advice/info would be appreciated since I’ve only ever kept freshwater tanks. Thanks,

For a 5 g, either distilled or RO from your LFS is fine. Ideal if you can install a RODi unit bit for the volume of water you'll change.. I don't see the need. 

 

I have a 90g and just use the LFS for RO.  Don't want the drama of another gadget in the house. 🤣
