Picked up a sinularia last week, after it's settled in i've noticed these guys at the base of its rock.

Anyone able to ID, advise if they're anything to worry about?

Would need a close up to be sure but it looks like blue clove polyps. They are not a pest per say but can take over the tank if the conditions are right.

Was worried that might be the case, alas they're right in the middle of the tank and this is as good as my macro photography appears to get.

They don't appear to have the blue or green coloration nor the feathering but maybe that's because they appear fairly immature.
