DevilDuck
Next month is going to be a busy travel month for me, and I've been thinking about how to automate my Fluval Evo tank. Of course, one key area of automation is feeding. I am still using the stock lid for the Evo. It's rounded design while aesthetically pleasing, is not very conducive to mounting external hardware like auto feeders. A few minutes of searching and up comes this simple and cleaver design from www.zoekissel.com Automatic Feeder Mount — Zoe Kissel It's a 3D printed bracket that hooks on to the feeding hole in the stock hood. It fits perfectly, is well-made piece, shipped out quickly, and economical at $20. If you have a 3D printer, you can print your own from the .stl file for $3. Automatic Feeder Mount - YouTube The bracket was designed for the Ehiem Everyday Fish Feeder or similar rotating drum feeders, but it works and fit reasonably well with my preferred feeder the Fish Mate F14. DVO
Hi! I am looking to buy this same bracket since I have the same setup as you. Are you still happy with its performance? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
