Next month is going to be a busy travel month for me, and I've been thinking about how to automate my Fluval Evo tank. Of course, one key area of automation is feeding. I am still using the stock lid for the Evo. It's rounded design while aesthetically pleasing, is not very conducive to mounting external hardware like auto feeders. A few minutes of searching and up comes this simple and cleaver design from www.zoekissel.com

It's a 3D printed bracket that hooks on to the feeding hole in the stock hood. It fits perfectly, is well-made piece, shipped out quickly, and economical at $20.
If you have a 3D printer, you can print your own from the .stl file for $3.

The bracket was designed for the Ehiem Everyday Fish Feeder or similar rotating drum feeders, but it works and fit reasonably well with my preferred feeder the Fish Mate F14.
