Best shrimp for 5 gallon

I will be setting up a 5 gallon tank soon and want to know what shrimp I could put in there. I really want a coral banded but am unsure if they grow to large for it. If I got that I would have just a bunch of coral and not fish. I live in Australia so a lot of good options of shrimp for my tank are near 100 dollars or way over. So I have 2 reasonable priced options cbs or peppermint.
