gregb
I have just finished reading an article by the great Eric Borneman in the Advanced Aquarist Online Magazine site. He reckens Goniopora spp could kill sps corals after some time together. Has anybody had this happen to them? If so were you using carbon? Link to comment
onthefly
Although many people do it.....many SPS freaks.....have no softies at all in there tanks. Now, although I'm not an SPS nazi, i'd say stay away from gorgonias, leathers, nephthea, singularia, and all the really toxic softies. Zoo's, GSP, shroom....should all be fine! Carbonand skimming will help Link to comment
DRZL-sauras
Ive seen great success in mixed reef tanks but theyre skimming is heavy...also to note...theres a product called purigen that does alot better than carbon IMO and is reusable and in my case has helped in stopping a RTN due to chemical warfare....(skimmer fell and broke)...used this and it helped alot Link to comment
