Cnidarious
Hey, i`m Thinkin about upgrading the lighting for my Redsea max. Currently i`m using the old 24 inch Aquaticlife, "only two bulbs" Can anybody recommend a good set of lights around this size? My tank is pretty much just exclusively a soft coral tank with various types many regard as "easy corals" such as Anthelias, Sarcophytons, Nepthyeas, Clavularias, Capnellas, Colts, etc.. Although i should also point out that stonies including Favias and Montiporas have volunteered themselves " i have no idea where they came from" and both are growing well in-spite of not being put there knowingly. Ideally, i`m looking for something that will provide sufficient light so that i wont kill anything. Quote Link to comment

mcarroll
Something like the Current USA strips would be the closest LED setup. I'd get a lux meter or PAR meter so you can measure the amount of light the tank has now so you can have a target for setting up the new lights. You don't wan't more light....at least not at first.
