NCNBilly
Got this on some new fiji in the 2.5. It retracts, but not all the way in to the rock when touched. The other thing is a white blob I can't make out. bigger and the fluff Link to comment
greatreef16
neither, probably a stawberry or orange ball anenome. Link to comment
NCNBilly
Cool! What do I feed it? Link to comment
ODOG
i say it's a baby hairy shroom, shouldn't have to feed for now until there is more bioload in the tank Link to comment
NCNBilly
No bio load in this tank yet. I bought cycled rock, so I barely had any cycle of my own, but my gut tells me to wait at least a month before putting any livestock in there. Link to comment
ODOG
gut is right, patience is most important in this hobby. Link to comment
NCNBilly
Gee thanks. I guess I'm lucky I even saw this thing. It's barely 1/4" in diameter. It took me a few tries, but the Fuji Finepix 40i did pretty good on the macro setting.. From what I've read, they don't like a lot of light and can sting just about everything. This tank isn't going to have fish, just some zoos, shrooms, and possible a coral banded shrimp. Link to comment
pauline
Definitely a rhodactis. They look transparent white/pink when young and develop their colours later. No need to dig it out. They feed on dissolved solids. But pls take that tuft out since you're gonna cycle yr tank. That will raise your nitrates. Link to comment
