JohnB
Virtually every zoanthid photo online is under blue light and my lfs uses it. I want to find some corals that are really colorful under white light too. Anyone know of some? Quote Link to comment
DevilDuck
Generally zoas that have big contrast differences between their light and dark colors looks best in whiter light. Something with a light center, dark ring, and light fringe. You generally need the anticic blue lights to make corals fluoresce. I dislike the look of all blue tanks so I play with the intensity of the whites and blues to get the best of both worlds, generally white looking tank with enough blue to make the coral colors pop. 3 Quote Link to comment
Gunner24
rastas look pretty even under whites. Same with Scrambled eggs imo. Hope this helps! I have a nuvo10 loaded with zoas and for the most part, they look good even under whites. But like DevilDuck said, the colors really "pop" with at least a touch of blue 1 Quote Link to comment
