Green Star Polyp not Opening

Hello everyone! A week ago, I bought a Green Star Polyp at my LFS that looked really bright and healthy. Unfortunately, now that it is in the tank, I haven’t really seen it come out all the way, and am worried that it is sick or has a parasite or something. I just did a water change a few days ago, and all my parameters seem fine. Do any of you have any insight?

is it coming out, just not all the way? Give it time. I've had GSP be irritated and closed for a week or two. I've had GSP get lost inside the sand bed and I found it a few months later and it grew again. GSP is pretty hardy. Having it close for a few days is normal. Especially if it's new and adjusting to your tank.

Hmm, okay. I figured it wasn’t much. Yes, it is coming out a little. I guess I just didn’t expect it to be like that for a week. I’ll keep an eye on it just in case, but I will give it some time. Thanks for the input!
