evo 13 hood - a word of warning

do not, like the idiot i am, attempt to cut notch into the edge of the hood with a pair of diagonal cutters. the plastic is too brittle and you'll just end up with a big crack.

Lol sounds about right!

 

 

Alternatively use some JB weld epoxy to fix it. If it's really cracked drill/melt some small holes along both sides of the crack and use a piece of steel wire to lace it up like a shoe.

i put a piece of duct tape on it and no problem. it's a crack a couple inches long but the crack didn't go all the way across the corner for a piece to separate.

yeah but i've got enough research to do just learning about corals at this point, let alone the workings of a high class light - maybe next year 🙂
