Mazzy21 Posted January 9, 2021 Share Posted January 9, 2021 1st is probably a really dumb question but I'm stumped: There are two brands that sell "maxijet" pumps: Marineland and Cobalt. Which one is the one everyone talks about/uses when discussing MJ1200, MJ900, etc. The difference in price is like double! 2nd ? - I see many use the MJ1200 on a BC29 but then inevitably there is always someone on the post that mentions this being a little too much and the MJ900 would be better. I don't have anything that needs high flow but just in general my pump crapped out and it was pretty bad anyway, so I want to up the flow just for cleanliness and movement (dead spots) sake in my tank so in that case MJ900 or MJ1200?
