Nargard Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I purchased two HMH 100 Watt Titanium Heater w/Digital Display & Remote Sensor - Finnex heaters and they both arrived with faulty internal sensors. Error code and alarm every time I plugged them in after following the manufacturers recommendations. Troubleshot with Finnex for two days with no success. I'm faced with the choice of returning them to be repaired or replaced but I must say my confidence is zero with this product. I can also return to Saltwater Aquarium for a full refund. Can anyone recommend a reliable heater for a 22 gallon tank with a 12 gallon sump. They will be placed in the sump which is 12" deep (front to back) so the length needs to be no longer that ~9". mcarroll Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 Eheim, Marineland as they have the best track record....or something else with a Lifetime Warranty. Also... Don't oversize. And two smaller heaters is a better setup than one bigger one, if you can manage it. Quote Link to comment
