Tired Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 Oh, nice! That's a pom-pom crab. They stay very small, so are safe for other animals. Make sure to give it food so it doesn't go hungry. They normally have two tiny anemones, one in each claw, that they wave at predators. They also mop the anemones along surfaces to pick up food. If this isn't holding those, it may have lost them somewhere. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tired Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 You can probably train it to take pellets as well. Put the food right near him with a pipette or tongs, and he'll learn quickly that the tongs mean food. You only need to see and feed him a few times for him to learn that. Quote Link to comment
