Half and half hammer?

Anyone seen one like it? It’s healthy and happy but it’s 1/2 n 1/2. Since I’ve got it the purple side has brightened to reveal a greenish base. Is this a cross of some kind or? Just curious. And yes it’s one head!

Nice! I’ve got one that is mixed purple and green but nowhere near as uniform as yours!

Super cool! A couple of my hammer heads have that kind of dotted mix but most are one or the other!

Here is a really crappy pic but I had one similar and it was sold to me as a bi color hammer.

 

heads were green or purple or sometimes green and purple. You can see a split one in the front of both colors. 
 

I still have this hammer but accidentally broke off the purple half. It is now starting to get the purple heads back and some 50/50s. I am not sure it is the same as a splatter hammer since it doesn’t seem to get uniform splatter colors.
