jefferythewind Posted July 5, 2021 Author Share Posted July 5, 2021 OK great, so I noticed that things take a while to settle in with the balance of the sump after letting it reach an equilibrium after a couple hours I slowly adjusted the pump and was able to adjust the level of the water in the overflow, just as was suggested. On top of that I seemed to have fixed the noise problem simply by securing the drain hose better (with duct tape). It is just a flexible hose and i noticed it was vibrating so i secured it and the sound seems to have stopped. Before I did that I found that putting something, like piece of air tube, in the drain hole helped but i didn't really like this solution. Quote Link to comment
