newbiecarlz Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 ok, i bought a new piece of LR a week or so ago and have noticed two yellow/green centre zoo polyps hitch hiking, they are a really nice morph! problem is, they are on the back of the rock against the side of the tank = no light. so ive been keeping an eye on them, and they arent too happy, they still open but ive noticed lots of 'stretching' towards the light. so how do i get them off? i did a search and it seems that there are various methods to cut/scrape them off, but ive never done anything like that before so im not too keen.. i took a LR fragment and put it next to (kind of ontop of) the polyps, will they move onto the LR? what would you do? just remove them manually or see if they jump to the other rock?
