Right before you feed regular coral food is the best time

Say 10 minutes or so before

The AA can cause a feeding response in many active feeding corals

The second best time is right after a water change

Amino Acids are a nitrogen and carbon dosing scheme in disguise, along with a trace element boost...

...most of it seems to go to bacteria growth....eventually cyanobacteria.

Make sure the tank's nutrient levels stay in the positive.

I would tread pretty lightly on any coral feeding program that doesn't just involve feeding your fish more somehow.  (And letting your fish feed your coral.)

Very informative . Thanks. I have 7 fish in a 50g tank. Have know idea if that is enough to feed the corals with their waste.

Ive been dosing Brightwell's coral amino since 11/7.  1ml -5ml per 50g daily is the recommended for the first mth. Been doing 1ml.

I may increase after the first mth. Looking to color up corals. Only time will tell,
