Hello all. I picked up a nuvo 16 off OfferUp to use as a quarantine tank. My main display is a JBJ45. 
 

anyway the guy had a pump from a bigger tank in there and it’s loud as hell. Any idea how to quiet it down?

 

its a mini 38? Rated at 475GPH. Thanks. Also if you know a hood place to get precut filter media that would be cool too.
