winniebagel
I'm glad that my coralline is thriving in my 7 month tank... but recently, the coralline started growing all over the GSP mat. On one rock, the coralline has covered over 3/4 of the nubs (where the polyps retract into). Is there any way to remove the coralline without harming the GSP mat or is the GSP mat done for? reefer21
it really depends on how hard your coralline is on the GSP mat. You can try taking a tooth brush and lightly scrub the area where the coralline is to see if that gets rid of it. But remember scrubbing the coralline in the tank will cause spores to come off and go all over the tank. This will increase your coralline's growth and where is spreads to. Link to comment
winniebagel
Thanks for the quick reply, reefer21! I'll try scrubbin' the coralline with a soft-bristled toothbrush and see if it'll solve my problem (I'll be sure to put the rock in another container with tank water first). Just gotta buy myself an extra toothbrush for that task tomorrow morning. I don't want to be using my toothbrush for this task :x Link to comment
