Dmmitchell
Would it a safe decision to put these fish together? Both are a bit aggressive but are also of the dwarf varieties of their respective species. The Hawkfish is already in -- but looking to add one more fish to the tank. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
The hawkfish is semi aggressive the angler is listed as peaceful. The angler can eat fish equal to its size or larger. I suspect the hawkfish could become the anglers meal at some point. I know alot of ppl with nano's usually only keep the angler as a single dwelling fish because anything it can't eat generally can't be housed in a nano. Quote Link to comment
Dmmitchell
Any ideas, then, of what I might be able to keep with the hawkfish? Quote Link to comment
Leo_ian
Larger gobies, clowns, Is your tank a cube/standard/long/frag 1 Quote Link to comment
Dmmitchell
It’s a 20 long. Quote Link to comment
paulsz
Blennys could also work I think. I'd say the clownfish would move around the most throughout the tank. So if that's what you're looking for, clown may be the way. Quote Link to comment
Leo_ian
20 long... maybe a pygmy angel? like an atlantic cherub or a fireball. cardinals, peaceful damsels (never get chromis, they kill each other) azure, yellow bellies and spriger's damsel Quote Link to comment
Dmmitchell
All of those would be OK with a Falco hawkfish? Quote Link to comment
