Aquarium ornaments in saltwater

Do aquarium ornaments fare well in saltwater? If not how quickly do they wear? I picked up a couple of Halloween ornaments for my tank and I’m wondering if putting them in for a month or two will negatively impact the water quality? 
 

I know most saltwater hobbyists prefer a natural look, and I do too typically, but I love the holidays and this seems so fun if it’s safe. 
 

The ornaments are made for aquariums from the local pet store but didn’t indicate if they were/were not meant for freshwater/saltwater.

I would look up the brand and see if they're made for saltwater.

 

Either way, you could theoretically coat them in some sort of acrylic sealant that's made for such things. If it's totally covered in cured acrylic, it's definitely inert.
