Srt4eric
I've got a newer small zoa frag and I noticed that there are some black string things under them. I tried to pull at them with tweezers and they are very hard to pull out. Any idea what these might be? Should i be concerned or just ignore them. By the way, this is my first of what i hope to be many posts here. All of you are awesome. Thanks!!! Quote Link to comment
Cflo
Might be macro algae. Hard to tell if bad or good. Quote Link to comment
Tired
Yeah, it's algae. Maybe a turf algae? Hard to be sure. If it's irritating the polyps into not opening all the way, careful use of sharp scissors might at least cut it back. If the polyps expand fine around the algae, it's not a problem, unless you really dislike the look of it. Quote Link to comment
