I was curious if getting a decorated firefish would be too much ? They are all young now and I was planning on upgrading size in a year or so Quote Link to comment
Tired Posted August 9, 2020 Share Posted August 9, 2020 You should never buy fish for a tank you don't have. Life can get in the way, or aggression can turn up sooner than you think. Also, firefish are very timid, and not great to add last to a tank containing 3 aggressive fish already. A decorated firefish would very likely be too much bioload, yes. I would be more concerned about territory, especially as the fish mature. You should wait until you upgrade the tank. Don't want to wind up racing to upgrade because there was a problem before you were ready to upgrade things. Quote Link to comment
